Spent the Fourth of July in Cleveland, Ohio to cover the Yankees at Indians games which were Derek Jeters first games back from the DL list.
Day one got in town and headed over to the ballpark around 3:30 to photographed some batting practice.

Jeter didn’t get a hit during the game and it was an Indians win to stay in first place over the Tigers.

Only highlight for Jeter was a play at second base.

The next day we got up and did some shopping and sight seeing before I headed back to the park to cover game two.
Game two was all Yankees with Jeter getting 2 hits and Curtis Granderson hitting 2 home runs.

Day three was more site seeing with a quick trip over to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame then back to the ball park for the last game in the series. It was unlikely number 3000 would come but you never know, look what did end up happening 5 for 5.
